BHRT Why and What does my treatments consist of?

•Consists of using hormones that are chemically identical to those the human body produces, to treat symptoms of hormone imbalances, menopause and support healthy aging- man-made hormones that are identical in molecular structure to the hormones produced by the human body Think of Bioidentical as Bodyidentical

Bioidentical hormones are used as treatment for both female and male patients whose own natural hormones are out of balance, not optimized or low than normal levels. They are made or synthetized from plant chemicals such as from yams and soy etc.

Examples of compounded hormones include:

Progesterone, estriol, estradiol, Bi-Est (estrogen preparation based, most often, on a ratio of 20% estradiol and 80% estriol on a milligram-per-gram basis or 50:50 ratio), pregnenolone, dehydroepiandrosterone (DHEA), and testosterone.

Compounded bioidentical hormones are available in various routes of administration,such as : sublingual, transdermal, oral,  suppositories, injectables, or as implants (“pellets”), or patches.

 Compounded preparations are custom-made by a compounding pharmacist for the patients as prescribed by the medical trained medical proffesionals.
